PREPARING THE MATERIALS - TECHNICAL ISSUES
Specified requirements for creating a panel for Neighbours Who Disappeared - Tribute to the Child Holocaust Victims:
* the panel is 80 cm wide and 200 cm tall - please accustom your work to this format
* we recommend using Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photo-Paint for preparing photographs and other images
* include a colour space for photographs and CMYK images
* use at least a 200 dpi resolution for pictures and 100 dpi for the background
* use Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator for editing the texts and other vector graphics
* save the final graphics into the appropriate format of the programme you are using with text converted into curves or, if you are advanced users, into PDF (make sure you enable converting into curves)
Please keep in mind that the panels will also be printed in smaller formats. Do not use large blocks of text with a small font size as they will be illegible after resizing.
We recommend using a text of 300-500 words.
