These organizations serve as a professional and methodical umbrella of the Czech schools project

The outcomes of the project (2000 1st Volume, 2001 film of the Czech TV based on the Volume, since 2002 the exhibition) so far have topped our expectations. It seems that the project not only provides students to formulate questions, which relate to the fate of the people who have disappeared during the 2nd World War in their neighborhood. information, but also even helps to change the social environment. Since 2002 (official opening of the exhibition in Senat of Parliament of the CR) is the individual effort of students multiplied by following activities of local Jewish communities and Non-Governmental organizations. In 2003 first regional Volume was printed (Litomyšl).

In 2004 first international meeting of participants was held.

2004 - There are new projects inspired by the project Neighbours Who Disappeared not only in the Czech Republic (for ex. Plzeň, Chotěboř), but even on international level ( Milan Šimečka Fund project Lost Neighbours, Slovak Republic).

Our web site is offering active participation on it - local outputs for new participants.

There are 4 copies of the traveling exhibition, and participation of students on important events and seminars for teachers.

Deborah Lipstadt, Leo Pavlat and Arnost Lustig appraised the effort of students on the first international meeting in June. Students are preparing their own participation on the Day of Remembering January 27, 2005
